What does a president mean without an imposing public voice?
How powerful and convincing can be a grumble and a grumble in the face of a divided society, in which every citizen has a saving idea for the country and believes himself to be a little wronged Napoleon, even a possible president?
How independent can a president be who gave himself up as an independent in the electoral campaign, but was supported by all the force structures and all the interest groups in Romanian politics?
Being in opposition and with an idea branded in the most ridiculous way possible, the one with the 35,000 euro houses (which was also laughed at by its main promoter), AUR cannot yet be considered an interest group. He stood out only by the fact that he fell into the trap set for the beginner. Without realizing it, he was turned into a target and a scarecrow and did not know how to counteract. In fact, Nicușor Dan could have been the winner of the presidential elections based on a non-existent or too distant danger. Moreover, he can remain in the chair only by inflating the same non-existent danger placed on the AUR.
What can a president of Romania do who does not have a political team around him? Nor by experts. Radu Burnete and Dragoș Anastasiu (owner of bus rides on European routes, especially to Germany and the husband of the former beautiful PNL deputy Hildegard Brandl) also having more NGO experiences and less economic performance. About theoretical contributions, no way. Apart from the interviews of convenience and the organizations of pride, they left no trace.
How can Nicușor Dan be an independent president and an equidistant from a party like USR that claims to be at the base of his support in the electoral campaign? The party that risked its money, that endangered its unity and image, now wants benefits. That is, fasts. I am convinced that former President and Minister Cătălin Drulă wants to return to the Ministry of Transport, where he left the hydrogen train business “without oxygen” and where the French company Alstom, the main beneficiary in terms of transport, railways and rolling stock, can’t wait to get postponements, contracts and other tenders.
How can President Nicușor Dan improve the state of Justice when one of the most influential people in USR is buried in the criminal case of vaccines? How to get out of the prosecutors’ clutches a key man at least for USR funds? Is it Vlad Voiculescu whom he would save from his criminal case at least for a designation at the National Medicines Agency, if not for other dignitaries?
How to avoid the cases of Vasilică Cîțu and Ludovic Orban?
How can he be independent and concerned about the quality of Justice when he relies on Monica Macovei’s disciples, such as Cristi Danileț, Raluca Prună, Laura Codruta Kovesi (with Ana Dana and everything), when the “burial in criminal cases” of political opponents was announced by Alina Mungiu Pippidi since the November campaign? With whom should Nicușor Dan be equidistant from the USR when Cristian Ghinea wants the Ministry of European Funds even if he made fun of the PNRR?
How can he press for the accuracy of Justice when his main adviser is Traian Basescu, and Ioana Basescu is hanging in the Nordis case because she was the main notary in the contracts with the disputed apartments? He listens blindly to him, although he knows that the postponement until the statute of limitations of false statements regarding non-collaboration with the Securitate was an orchestrated operation.
How can Nicușor Dan supervise the secret services in their excessive involvement in politics and economics when his entire career and that of the USR are based on the relationship with General Florian Coldea?
How can Nicușor Dan be a respectable president when the CCR rejected immediately after winning the elections exactly the declaration of assets for family members, concubines and relatives. And the CCR decision comes out in favor of the properties owned by Mirabela Grădinaru, as if by chance employed by a large French company in Romania?
How can Nicușor Dan be a strong president without the SRI that has kept him hanging since high school?
How can he be convincing when he speaks and improvises in such a way?
How can he put together a heavy team of experts when he is still accompanied by those who have supported him and whom he has shown us so far?
What changes for the better can a person we don’t understand and who moves as if he were very far from what we live and our souls bring to our lives?
With his robot approaches and movements in the tests, he barely arouses a kind of curiosity!
